Damaged asbestos roof sheeting must be replaced

Reliable Asbestos Assessments and Asbestos Inventories

Asbestos fibres are dangerous and poses serious  health & safety risks. Older homes, factories, offices, schools and warehouses are likely to have asbestos roofs, ceilings and structures that may be showing signs of damage due to various installations.

According to the Asbestos Abatement Regulations 2020, all damaged asbestos must be removed, all buildings must have an asbestos assessment done and an asbestos inventory drafted by May 2022.

Ingozi Management Safety & Health Consultants offers ASBESTOS ASSESSMENTS and ASBESTOS INVENTORIES in accordance with the ASBESTOS ABATEMENT REGULATIONS 2020.

Why is asbestos dangerous?

Asbestos was used extensively in building materials until the 1980s when it was banned due to the significant health risks asbestos fibres posed.

Asbestos has since been proven to be highly toxic and the cause of fatal respiratory diseases  throughout the world, such as mesothelioma and asbestosis.

Only Type 2 and 3 Registered Asbestos Contractors (registered at the Department of Employment and Labour) are permitted to safely remove and dispose of asbestos at approved asbestos disposal sites. Ingozi Management monitors the registered asbestos contractor’s activities and methodologies to ensure the removal and disposal is handled safely and correctly.

As a registered asbestos contractor a contractor offers:
