Cape Vistas Sectional Title is a stunning complex at the base of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak and is a highly sought after complex for investors and homeowners.
Ingozi Management was commissioned to ensure the safety for the painting and structural repairs project. The project was completed by Indawo.
Health and safety aspects included checking on the safety of workers, at ground level and at heights. In a windy city, working at heights poses significant risks for workers and scaffolding and on gantries.
The wind caused significant challenges for the contractor. Battling the wind and rain during the winer months added to the stress on the workers working at considerable heights in tight spaces.
The safety of residents was also of concern as structural repairs had to be done on various apartment balconies. Being a large sectional title complex, site workers had to be mindful of residents, other contract workers, and visitors. And so their safety was top priority.
